Ideas To Save The Planet

Thank you to all the people of Air America, past, and present, for your courage and efforts to rebalance the American political air waves by promoting progressive view points. I’ve been a fan since you started. Most the hosts are great, especially Laura Flanders, Thom Hartmann, Rachel Maddow, Chuck D, and of course Al Franken.

You have successfully turned the tide of right wing media and talk radio. The evidence of this is the results of the 2006 elections.

Thank you for all you beautiful work to all the DJ’s and employees of Air America.

But I think that you all could be even more powerful and effective in your work. So I’m here to Invite you to Choose to Be More Powerful.

Thank you all for taking the time to listen to my ideas.

Air American could be more powerful and effective if you became “100% Clear - Zero Emission and Energy Independent Air America Radio.”

I’m writing a book called, Ideas to Save the Planet, and I’m inviting people who have the beautiful intention of saving the Planet by “Going to Green” to go all the way and “Go Clear” to 100% not killing the Planet, instead only going part way by only changing light bulbs.

How could you do that, you might ask? Well, by making it a priority to operate Clearly.

Please implement all these suggestions.

Make it a priority to operate 100% Clearly and change your business model and charter to reflect that priority.

Raise money, I don’t care if it takes a year, and convert all your offices, stations, studios, and operations to Hydrogen Fuel Cells, Solar, Wind, and Water. The technology existed today to do this. You could be generating your our Hydrogen gas from Solar, Wind, and Water. If you did this you would also not have to pay for electricity or heat every again, and you would never have a blackout, or have your voice cut off by the government! Please lead the nation and the World by using these tools, and by living your spirituality and your politics.

Invest in Renewable energy manufacturing and installation companies by inviting them to advertise on your stations.

You could be saying in your promotions, “Air America Radio – We’re not killing the Planet! or “We’re not polluting your children,” or “Air America Radio - We’re On It! We are doing what we can to Save the Planet.” “You don’t have to fight a war for Oil for us, because we are Energy Independent and Zero Emission,” or “Air America Radio – the Actually Clear Channel”

By implementing theses suggestions you will not only be innovative and the first zero emission and energy independent radio network in the US, if not the World, but your political positions will be strengthened, because you will be not just talking about Climate Change and how terrible wars for Oil are, but you will be walking your talk, and doing what you can to Save the Planet and to change society for the better. I think that people would gladly send you money to help you manifest that intention.

Also if you convert all your operations to Hydrogen, Solar, Wind, and Water you will be supporting American sustainable energy manufacturing and installation jobs, while proving to the nation and the World, everyday, that it’s possible to live this way, and that we don’t have to wait another 20 years or fight wars for Oil.

Please add this to your arguments against the war in Iraq. “Not only was this war for Oil, based on lies, has killed 650,000 civilians and thousands of Americans, and is being mismanaged, but it is totally unnecessary! We don’t need Oil! Not only is Oil killing the Planet and people all over the World, but we don’t need it, because we can run our homes and cars on Sunlight, Wind, and Water. We’re doing it! You can, too! So let’s Get On It!”

This idea would also strengthen your network financially, because you would have more, as well as more diverse and more powerful advertisers than you do now. Please stop having useless commercials that no one wants to hear, and have more powerful ones. Have Solar panel, Hydrogen Fuel Cell, Wind generators, Hydrogen gas tank, and electrolyzers manufacture’s and installation companies, or garages that convert cars to Hydrogen, commercials on your shows, instead of repetitive, annoying, and frivolous ones.

If you acted on my ideas you would be able to say, “No Planet was harmed in the production of this radio program. No wars were needed to be fought to power this radio show. We are doing what we can to Save the Planet. We are leading the nation and the World to Energy Independence. We are not polluting your children. You can live this way, too. It is possible to Save the Planet. Come and join us in living more cleanly and powerfully!”

Since Al Franken left, I think that Thom Hartmann is your best DJ. However, Laura Flanders is second best and should be on in the mornings and not that Lionel guy. If you made that change, you would have a more powerful line up, and therefore be more popular and more successful, politically, and financially.

Also your DJ’s could be like Bob Barker the host of the Price is Right game show, who acted on his activism and made it a point to say on every show, for 30+ years, “This is Bob Barker, reminding you to control the pet population and spade and neutering your pets.” Laura Flanders could be saying something similar. ‘This is Laura Flanders reminding you to Save the Planet by converting your home and car to Hydrogen, Solar, Wind, and Water. It is possible to Save the Planet, So let’s get on it!’

Lastly, you could not only be operating 100% Clearly, with zero emission and energy independence, and advocating that your listeners live this way too, and supporting sustainable jobs, but you could be inviting your guests to do the same, by converting all their homes and cars. You could be slapping politicians around for not living this way, or blocking the rest of us from living this way with their policies.

The Hydrogen Fuel Cell was invented 170 years ago, we went to the moon using them, and we use them today in the Space Shuttle. We just have to make it a priority to use them in our homes and cars.

You could be telling the politicians to Get On It! We’ve waited too long already to live this way.

I’ve invited the Democratic Party to donate Solar panels, Wind generators, and Hydrogen Fuel Cells to the Pepsi Center, the venue of the 2008 Democratic National Convention, and that they make it the first zero emission and energy independent convention ever. Please see my letter to them that I have included in this email, for more details in that idea. Unfortunately, Howard Dean did not listen to me, and looked at me like I was an axe murder when I spoke to him in person about it.

I also have advocated that all their offices, local, State, and Federal be converted to Hydrogen, Solar, and Wind, and for all their candidates campaign in Hydrogen cars and buses. Thereby leading the nation by example with a Zero Emission Energy Independent Presidential campaigns!

Please advocate for these ideas, because it could be the spark that leads us to becoming energy independent as a nation and to ending Climate Change. Please slap Howard Dean around for treating me so poorly, especially since these are great ideas and because I have been a loyal democratic for 20 years. As I said in my letter, if they acted on these ideas they would be winning over progressives and independents by taking more action and not just talking about Climate Change or our dependence on foreign Oil.

You could be even stronger and more powerful, if you choose to be.

Please take up my Invitation and choose to Be More Powerful by taking action to become zero emission and energy independent and by leading the nation and the World to fight Climate Change and end our need to fight wars for Oil, by example.

P.S.
I emailed this letter to all the Air America DJ’s and the management, and I got absolutely no response from any of them!

Sad news.

Again every time that people don’t choose to be More Powerful, they end up being less powerful instead. But I have done what I can by communicating these ideas to them, to their listeners, and to the World in this book.

They can either act on them or not.

They can either choose to have the World’s first zero emission energy independent radio network and lead by example, or not.

They can either choose to continue to have annoying commercials and fewer listeners, and struggle financially, or they can choose to be more powerful politically, make more money, grow their audience, and do what they can to Save the Planet.

It’s now 2009 and they never acted on these ideas, and even Laura Flanders and Thom Hartmann have left their network. If they had listened to me and acted on these ideas, things might have turned out differently.

Hopefully they will have the intelligence and courage to listen to my wisdom and act on these suggestions in the future.

All things are possible.

Unfortunately they never acted on my advice and in January 2010 they went off the air. I tried to help them to survive and thrive, but they didn't listen to me. Sad news.
