To celebrate Earth Day I had my first book signing on April 24, 2010 at the Narrow Gauge Newsstand in Alamosa, Colorado. It went well and many of my friends and customers showed up.
It is my first video and I realize that it's not that polished, that I am not very photogenic, and that I'm very soft spoken, but I never said I was an expert, or a great public speaker. I just said I am seeing some ideas that can save the planet.
The point of my work is that you don't have to be an expert to educate yourself about what's possible, to see that we're not using existing technologies that could save it, or to take action to save the planet.
It's going take more than a handful of experts. Billions of regular people like me and you are going to have to take action to save it, which I am doing in my book and in this video.
Thanks for listening and for helping me to save the planet by helping me to get the word out about my book and by acting on the ideas presented in it.
I've been an activist for 15 years. I'm selling my book not only to save the planet, but to save my own life and to raise the money I need to live out my own advice by building a zero emission, energy independent, and disaster resistant home, that I've been planning for 12 years.
