Jon, I love you and your show, but you are totally wrong about T. Boone Pickens. You have had him on your show on January 27, 2011 and in 2008 where you were ready to follow him and do whatever he said.

On his most recent appearance on your show Pickens totally lied to you by saying that fracking is safe and doesn't pollute water aquifers. Pickens said, "I have fracked 3,000 wells in my life... I've never seen anything damaged." You then feebly mentioned that others would disagree about that and it has been harmful. But you didn't bust out the facts and call him on his lies, even though you already had Josh Fox, the creator of the film, Gasland, on your show, so you know better.

He is also only talking about stopping our use of OPEC oil in 10 years, but he still wants to continue to use other nation's oil and domestic oil and gas.

That is not going to do anything to save the planet, because after waiting another 10 years to do that, we will still be polluting ourselves.

Pickens is wrong about using natural gas to get us to energy independence.

Yes, cars can be converted to burn natural gas, but they would still be polluting the air and polluting water aquifers by drilling for it. It’s just as easy to convert cars to burn 100% hydrogen, and has been done for 90 years already. Hydrogen burning cars fully burn up any pollution that is already in the air as it goes through the engine and the hydrogen flame, thus these cars clean the air everywhere they go.

Everyday there is more solar and wind energy than all the oil, coal, and natural gas in the world. We could be getting unlimited hydrogen from the Atlantic Ocean, as well as the Pacific, the Gulf of Mexico, and so could nearly every nation on this planet that is surrounded by seawater. If we made it a priority to give everyone the tools to access the abundant energy that is all around us, every home and every nation would be fully energy independent and no one would ever have to go without energy, or need to fight wars for oil, and developing nations could develop without polluting. Also if we all desalinated seawater, every nation could have unlimited water for farming and drinking, as well as for hydrogen production, and it would end hunger and thirst as well as climate change.

Jon, you and Pickens dismissed Solar and Wind because you think that they can not be used in combustion engines. --- But you're wrong!

Everyone could be generating their own hydrogen from solar, wind, and water at home and fill up their cars with gas they produces themselves, which is abundant and zero emission, and never have to pay for fuel, as well as heat and electricity, ever again. Thus using hydrogen to store the energy from solar and wind, makes solar and wind consistent, and takes away the argument that they are unreliable and inconsistent. They also facilitate the elimination our energy bills not just reducing them, and not just for us, but for every nation and all future generations.

T. Boone Pickens' Plan is not that comprehensive. He only wants to continue to use oil and gas, control our electricity, our fuel, and our water, by buying up water rights, natural gas wells, and by convincing people like you that that is what we need to do. He could be putting his billions into manufacturing solar, wind, and hydrogen technologies, using wind to electrify water to produce hydrogen, and getting rich on facilitating everyone's true energy independence and the planet being fully saved.

I have written you before Jon and have asked you to convert your entire studio and your home and cars to solar, wind, and hydrogen fuel cells. If you had listened to me your stance against the Iraq war would have been strengthened. You have to the money and the star power to demand it. If you went all the way with your politics and your environmentalism, you would be a shining example to the nation and the world and it would help to turn things around, educate the world, and inspire everyone to join you in living this way.

Also Bill Gates could be spending his billions on manufacturing solar, wind, hydrogen fuel cells, hydrogen gas tanks, and electrolyzers that generate hydrogen from water. He also could be converting coal fired power plants to burn hydrogen and instantly manifesting 100% zero emission grids. During your interviews you could be slapping around Pickens and Gates for not already going that and be goading them into doing so, and as well as into giving away enough tech to make thousands of whole homes 100% zero emission and energy independent. But you didn't choose to play it that way and you kissed their asses and had 3 relatively frivolous and pointless interviews.

You should have Roy McAlister, the President of the American Hydrogen Association on your show. He can tell you how he has been converting gas cars to burn hydrogen for 45 years. Then have him generate some hydrogen on your desk with a solar panel and an electrolyzer and boil some water with a hydrogen flame, on your desk in front of the world. The teapot whistling could be "the sound of the world changing" because that's all that coal and nuclear power plants do, they boil water and the steam turns turbines. You could show everyone that we don't need them and we can boil water to generate electricity with an abundant and zero emission fuel, hydrogen. Then you could encourage your viewers and President Obama to mobilize the nation to do it, as you pour some hot water and both have some zero emission tea.
