In my book I honor and appreciate Al Gore for his long commitment to educate the world about Climate Change and he is on my list of Heroes for the Planet. Al's movie An Inconvenient Truth, books, and his latest 24 hours of The Climate Reality Project were important contributions to the debate and have helped to wake up the world to the climate crisis.
But Al is not being as powerful as he could be or needs to be in his work, or as I am.
I support Al Gore and have sent him several letters during the past 12 years, which make up my chapter, My Invitations to Be More Powerful to Al Gore. I've also sent Al a copy of my book to communicate to him the ideas I'm seeing and my helpful suggestions, but unfortunately he has yet to respond to or act on any of them.
I'm trying to make Al more powerful and effective in his work because we all need him to be more successful in saving the planet.
Al is doing a great job of speaking powerfully about the problem of Climate Change, but he is not spending enough time on or being specific enough about the solutions to it.
In my book I take Al and the scientists at their word and believe what they're saying, but am focusing on what we can do about it.
I'm telling the world about gas cars that are converted to burn 100% hydrogen which clean the air as they drive, which have already existed for 91 years, and am advocating for converting all cars, trucks, and boats on the entire planet.
I also advocate for converting all coal fired power plants to burn hydrogen and thus making all grids 100% zero emission, and I have proof that it's possible on this website.
He could be using his fame and money and be showing the world by example by living a 100% zero emission life by powering all his homes and ranch with solar, wind, and hydrogen fuel cells. All his cars could be burning hydrogen. He could have pulled up to the Oscars and the Nobel Prize in a hydrogen burning Limo. The stage presentation in An Inconvenient Truth and the one tonight in The Climate Realty Project could have been powered by solar, wind, and hydrogen fuel cells.
He could have had a hydrogen burning car on the stage with him tonight, which he could have told the world about how it works, started it up, and would have been cleaning the air in the room the entire time he was speaking!
All of which would have made his work more powerful, because he would have not only pointed out the outrages and problems, but also demonstrated the solutions to the problems of climate change.
Tonight Al only mentioned solutions during the last 10 minutes of his 1 hour show and only mentioned solar and wind, which demonstrated my point, of his focusing 80/20 on the problem and 20/80 on the solutions.
He did the same thing in An Inconvenient Truth were he only gave the solutions 15 minutes and in the credits, when many people would have already walked out.
I am speaking more powerfully than Al Gore because unlike Al and most of the Green community, I'm talking about fully saving the planet by saying the word, "Eliminate" and not just "Reduce" pollution.
I'm saying Zero Emissions and not Carbon Neutral.
I'm talking about ending climate change and not just educating people about it or mitigating it's effects.
I'm being specific about how everyone can use the technologies that can get us to a zero emission and energy independent planet.
Also I have ideas for a TV show that goes around converting entire homes to solar, wind and hydrogen, and another show that converts entire small towns.
My idea for a movie is, A Zero Emission Energy Independent Planet, that shows the world how we can save the planet and shows everyone what saving it could look like.
(Al Gore could also be powering the studios, offices, and broadcast of his Current TV channel, with solar, wind, and hydrogen fuel cells, and be doing shows about and advocating for these technologies, as well as doing my 2 TV shows.)
Al is not saying or doing all that. He won't even say the word "hydrogen" much less advocate that everyone use it, or advocate for all those solutions, even though I have written him about them and sent him a copy of my book. In fact Al has stupidly advocated for nuclear energy instead of hydrogen.
Al also is not talking about everyone getting their water from the oceans that are rising all around every nation to fuel the zero emission hydrogen economy and to end hunger, thirst, and droughts, as I am.
For instance tonight Al pointed out that Texas is having fires from droughts, but didn't mention that there is unlimited water right there in the Gulf of Mexico, which we could be desalinating and using to end those droughts and put out the fires.
Same thing with the droughts in Somalia. No one ever points out that there is an ocean of water right next to them. Just look at the map, its right over there!
Al is right about the science and the facts, and he is right about trying to convince people and mobilize the world to take action to combat climate change, but all that is not enough.
As I say in my book, we not only have to point out the outrages, we have to say the next sentence and advocate for the solutions to the outrage, or we're just going to be perpetually outraged.
I'm also saying that it's how you implement that beautiful intention to do something that is the main issue, and it's the direction your working towards.
Al is right to say that we have to take action now, but he's not being specific or powerful enough in what we should do.
Once you're convinced and want to take action, do you only make baby-steps? and where are you baby-stepping to?
Do you just change your light bulb, that is still powered by coal? or do you go all the way and convert your entire house to 100% zero emission solar, wind, and hydrogen?
We can and we must go all the way and fully save the planet, and Al Gore could be talking and living more powerfully as he is trying to mobilize the world.
Please help me in my work to get the world to go all the way and
Go Clear, and join me in making saving the planet a personal priority by taking The I'm On it! Pledge.
Also please buy my book and read my chapter about all the ways I've tried to make Al Gore more powerful and help me to convince him to implement my wisdom.
Because as I say in my book, "Al, the future survival of the planet and humanity depends on you speaking and acting more powerfully."
Thank you.
