My name is Todd A. Norman. I'm the author of the book, Ideas to Save the Planet. I'm a Writer, Potter, Tai Chi Teacher, Ideas-man, and a Hero for the Planet.
I've researched sustainable living and have been an activist for 13 years and started writing the content for this website and my book in September 2005.
I’m not an expert, but I have researched sustainable living for 13 years and I refer to many people who are experts. The whole point of this book is that you don’t have to be an expert to see the information that I’m seeing, to make the connections that I’m making, or to take action to save the planet.
I've acted on the information and inspiration I've received by writing this book. In it I'm attempting to inspire the world to make saving the planet a global priority and moral imperative, by offering humanity a positive vision of the future and ideas and solutions to our collective problems.
In my activism to manifest these ideas and generate positive change, I've emailed Invitations to Be More Powerful to politicians and famous people, including Al Gore, Oprah, Michael Moore, and Bono. Many of my letters and all my ideas and solutions to the world's problems are included in the 80 chapters of my book.
I recently ended a 6-year adventure the San Luis Valley of Colorado, where I went through a lot, including being homeless and living in a shack with no running water, electricity, phone, and a bucket for a toilet, for a year, while writing my book. But for 11 years I've planned to build a hurricane, tornado, earthquake, flood, fire, wind, termite, mold, and mildew resistant Super Adobe home, which is also going to be 100% zero emission and energy independent, powered by solar, wind, hydrogen, and water. I also plan to buy a new car and convert it to burn hydrogen and thus making it a negative emission car that cleans the air as I drive and run it on hydrogen gas I produce myself.
I hope to sell enough books, and get my movie and TV shows ideas manifested so I can finally be home-full in my dream house and live out my own advice by doing what I can to save the planet. Then I’ll be able to say to the world, "I live in a house and I drive a car like that, you can too."
I think it’s still possible to save the planet and that the future of the planet and humanity depends on all of us, getting on saving it, now!
Thank you for joining me in the important work to save Humanity and the Planet, and for supporting my efforts by buying my book.
