Ideas To Save The Planet

Good day Oprah Winfrey,

Thank you for taking the time to read my mail and I hope that this letter finds you well and happy.

Thank you Oprah, for all your great, important, and powerful work. You’re an extremely powerful person who is effecting so much positive change in the world. My mother loves your show and magazine, too.

My name is Todd Norman and I’m writing a book called, Ideas to Save the Planet and this letter is going to be a chapter in my book.

I’m writing not only to give you some tools that I think you could use to Be More Powerful, and effective in manifesting even more positive change, and also to Save the planet. I also have a chapter in my book called, Women are Important and can Play and Pivotal Role in Saving the Planet, which you are also in. Please demonstrate how powerful you can be by acting on my suggestions and by supporting my efforts to save it.

I have self published my book, Ideas to Save the Planet, and I need some help in finding an agent and formal publisher. Please consider adding my book to your Book Club, have me on your show, and help me educate millions of women about what they can do to save the planet. You could also add grooming new authors, like me, to get published, to your book club program. Basically not just talking about good existing books, but also helping to manifest new good books, as well.

You could convert all your homes to solar, wind, water, and hydrogen fuel cells, and all your cars, and limos to burn hydrogen, by doing so you will be cleaning the air as you drive. You have the money to do this and it would be doing what you can to save the planet and to live sustainably, with zero emissions and energy independence. Roy McAlister, the President of the American Hydrogen Association, can help you to do it.

You could be converting all your offices, TV studios, production facilities, broadcast, etc… to hydrogen, solar, and wind. Imagine a zero emission energy independent Oprah Show! If you acted on this idea, you would be supporting sustainable technology manufacturing companies, installation jobs, and show the world that we don’t have to wait another 20 years to live this way. Every day you could be telling the World on your show something like this; “This a 100% zero emission and energy independent Show. I’m doing what I can to save the planet. Please join me in going all the way by Going Clear, instead of only going part way by Going Green. It is possible to live this way. So let’s Get on it!” You could be using your voice, example, and influence to help manifest more people living this way as well, including all the women of America, and all the celebrities that you have on your show. You could also wear an “I’m on it!” button, and encourage the nation to do the same.

You could be investing in sustainable technology companies, and/or starting your our manufacturing companies, and selling your own line of “Oprah fuel cells,” “Oprah solar panels,” wind Generators, electrolyzers, hydrogen gas tanks, fuel cell cars, or start hydrogen conversion auto garages, hydrogen gas stations, etc… The world needs these technologies now, not in 20 years. You could play a pivotal role in helping the world to live sustainably, sooner, by facilitating people to access the abundant energy that is all around them; sunshine, wind, hydrogen from water, tidal and wave power.

You could be doing shows on renewable energy, educating the public, and having town hall meeting like you did with health care. As well as shows about converting your homes and cars, and TV studio. And even have Roy McAlister and his college students convert a car to burn hydrogen on your stage.

You could have Give Away shows that give away solar panels, wind generators, residential hydrogen fuel cells, hydrogen fuel cell cars, residential hydrogen gas stations, or paying to convert their existing cars to burn hydrogen, to your entire audience! Thus facilitating 350 something people living in zero emission and energy independent homes and driving zero emission and energy independent cars. You would be planting the seeds of change by doing so, because those people’s would then be examples to the rest of their communities of how to live sustainably, which would help generate others living this way, too. When that community has their next blackout, the house that you facilitated to be zero emission and energy independent, will be the only home with its lights on! That house will be literally a shining example to every house around them that living this way is a better way to go. Also others will be even more interested in converting to live that way when they find out that those people in that house, not only never have blackouts, but they don’t have to pay for electricity or heat ever again, and their power and heat can never be shut off!, for financial reasons or by a storm. Also the hydrogen cars that you give away or convert will be an example to everyone in their town of how to drive sustainably and save the planet. They will never have to pay for gasoline ever again, because they run their car off the hydrogen they produce themselves from Water, which they got off their rain gutter or water tap, and electrify with the sun, the wind, and fill up their cars from their own hydrogen gas station in their garage. If you acted on this idea you would not only be planting these seeds of change all over the nation and the World, but also supporting renewable energy manufacturing and installation jobs and helping to bring down the cost of these technologies, too. You could put in a large order of hydrogen fuel cells cars to GM or Ford, and jump start them building these cars.

You could also be adding giving away sustainable technologies to your Big Give show, as well.

All your future Harpo, TV and Movies, projects could be 100% Clear and ZEEI (zero emission energy independent) productions. You could also use your star power to include in your contracts that all your future movies be ZEEI productions, and even the trailer you rest in be powered with solar, wind, and hydrogen. (I’ve suggested that all the progressive Hollywood actors do the same. Please see my chapter on What Actors, Musicians, and Celebrities Can Do to Save the Planet, for more details.)

Thank you for all your beautiful, O Philanthropy, programs. I think it’s great that you’re helping so many people all over the World. Please add these suggestions to your philanthropic efforts.

Please add “Who Wants to Live Sustainably?” to your programs. If some one is alive enough to want to live sustainably, but they simply don’t have the money to live out that intention, they should get what they need to do so. I think that living in a zero emission and energy independent home or driving a hydrogen car are just as worthy of a charity as any other. You could not only be giving away renewable technologies to people on a give away show, but you could be giving them away everyday as apart of your philanthropy. I have a chapter in my book called, Philanthropy to Save the Planet, What Millionaires and Billionaires Can do to Save the Planet, and I’m suggesting that you and all millionaires and billionaires could be facilitating millions of people living and driving sustainably by giving to individuals and not only to nonprofits. Please help anyone who walks up to you and says, “I want to live sustainably.”

You could be putting solar panels, and wind generators and Fuel Cells on/in women’s shelters, and homeless shelters, too.

You could be funding the conversion of whole buildings in Chicago. It’s the windy city, right? There is a big lake and lots of water there, right? You could be converting entire housing projects, or whole city blocks of low income neighborhoods, to hydrogen, solar, and wind. (I’ve heard of a guy who's already is putting Wind generators on buildings in chicago, and you could help him.)

The schools that you’re building in Africa could be built out of Super Adobe, be disaster resistant, use 95% less wood, and zero emission and energy independent by being powered by hydrogen, solar, and wind.

Also Oprah, I wasn’t able to see your shows with Eckhart Tolle and healing the planet, because I didn’t have electricity to power my TV at the time because I was living in a shack. But from what I’ve gathered, you were talking about healing it spiritually. I think that’s great, but it’s just the beginning. I think that we all have to spiritually shift to make saving the planet a moral imperative, but then we have then act on that intention and realization by living and driving sustainably.

My ideas for ending climate change, as well as to end poverty, hunger and thirst, is for the world to get its fuel and fresh water from the oceans that are rising around every nation, and use it as a weapon against climate change. If we everyone had desalination plants and water pipelines instead of oil pipelines on their coastlines, everyone would have permanent fresh water, (no matter how the climate and weather patterns changes), for sanitation, farming, and for generating their own zero emission fuel, hydrogen. All cars and coal fired power plants can be converted to burn hydrogen and become negative emission by actually cleaning the air by fully burning the pollution that is already in the air. Thus it would end wars for oil, deaths from water born diseases, pollution, famines, deforestation, and desertification. It would also end poverty because it would help developing nations to develop without polluting. Please see the rest of this book for more details on these ideas and help me to manifest them.

I’m also saying in my book that living sustainably in the true defense of every person, child, family, and nation. Climate change took out New Orleans and entire American city, and did more damage than 9/11 did or World War II did to this country. We need to see that living sustainably and fighting climate change is in each person’s best interest. I want to mobilize women to harness their motherly instinct of protecting their children, towards saving the planet. They could be using their buying power to stimulate the renewable energy market by buying fuel cells, etc… because by doing so, they are taking action to not pollute their own families and children with their homes and cars. They also don’t have to send their children off to a war of oil or have their kids get Asthma from coal pollution, because they don’t need oil or coal anymore.

I have a lot of respect and admiration for you and all the great things you’ve chosen to do with your life. I hope that shines through in this chapter. I’m taking the time to write you because I know that you have the moral and spiritual conscience to act on these suggestions, as well as the money. You could be a spark that lights that fire of change and changes our collective mindsets by helping me to educate, empower, and mobilize the women of the world to save the planet and the future of humanity.

If you feel honored and supported by my words, and that my suggestions are helpful to you, and if you feel good about doing so, please consider helping me manifest my hopes and dreams and my projects to save the planet.

I have been trying to live sustainably in a disaster resistant, energy independent, and zero emission home for 9 years. My dream house is going to be built using Super Adobe which is hurricane, earthquake, tornado, fire, wind, hail, termite, mold, and mildew resistant. It’s also going to be zero emission and energy independent, because I’m going to power it with solar panels, wind generators, and a residential hydrogen fuel cell. I’m going to generate my own hydrogen gas from water, solar, and wind, and have a hydrogen gas station in my garage for my hydrogen burning car, too.

I’ve been homeless and penniless lately and I need a home and I could use some help. I’ve emailed you several time since 2004, about these ideas I’ve ask you to help me but no one has responded. I know you’re very busy and maybe you never got my mail, but please consider helping me now. Please consider having me on your show, putting my book on your Book Club, so I can get the word out about my book, educate women and the world about what everyone can do to save the planet, so I can earn the money I need to manifest my house, so I can do what I can to save my own life and save the planet.

I also need help with manifesting my other projects. I have ideas for 2 TV shows, Who Wants to Live Sustainably? and Modernize My Town which are shows like Extreme Home Makeover Edition, that give away renewable energy technologies to individuals homes and to whole small towns. I have an idea for a movie to save the planet, A Zero Emission Energy Independent Planet, which is a positive vision and depiction of the future where all the problems of the world are fixed, including climate change, and hunger and thirst, and Humanity thrives instead of being destroyed. I also would like to start a program to build Sustainable Homes for Native Peoples all over the world, and start my own philanthropic foundation The Double Happiness Foundation, where I would give away money to people who need it. I’m a Potter and Tai Chi Teacher and in my dream house I want to run my Double Happiness Studios, and have my own right livelihood, by making pots, teaching, and writing books, as well as being an example to the world sustainably living in my disaster resistant, zero emission, and energy independent home and small business.

I can’t manifest these ideas without the means to do so. Please consider helping me to make my vision and hopes and dreams a reality.

Please give me more, so I can do more.

When I am on your show maybe we can stretch it into a week of shows. I would like to invite Roy McAlister the President of the American Hydrogen Association, to convert one of your cars to burn Hydrogen on your stage and show you, and all of us, how to implement these suggestions. Also invite Al Gore, Leo DiCaprio, Bono, and Michael Moore on so I can tell them about my suggestions to them. Maybe we can convert Al Gore’s car too, and show him how he can be even more powerful in his work to save the planet. The last day we could have President Barack Obama on the show and educate and encourage him to mobilize the entire nation and the rest of the world to make this conversion.

I just heard that you will retire soon. You certainly deserve a rest after all your hard work. But if you’re retiring because you’ve run out of ideas for shows, I hope that I gave you some good new ideas. Also before you retire you could go out with a bang by manifesting all of these ideas. Also when you do your new cable network, it could be powered by hydrogen, solar, water, and wind, and it could be the first zero emission and energy independent cable network.

Well…, I think that is enough suggestions, for now.
